The building, dating back to the 1960s, was constructed with well-laid split stone masonry and features a solid brick tower.
Intervention with Sismagrid
The Sismagrid system is a single-face solution that involves the widespread attachment of steel modules made of 2 mm square mesh preformed panels. The engineer specified the installation of the system on all exterior façades of the school.
In this case, the installation of the seismic reinforcement was preceded by a scratch coat to level the surface. A thermal insulation layer was then applied.
Thanks to the ease of installation and the single-face application, the intervention was completed rapidly, an essential factor to restore normal school activities as soon as possible.
