Intervention with Sismagrid
Sismagrid was installed on the exterior walls of this mixed masonry building. This dry-applied, low-thickness seismic strengthening system can be applied without removing the existing plaster.
The reinforcement adapted perfectly to the unique configuration of the chapel walls integrated into the building. Sismagrid consists of preformed steel mesh modules with 2 mm strips, which can conform even to curved surfaces.
After the steel mesh installation, the intervention was completed with a rock wool thermal insulation system.
