Two Conferences in One Event: A Status Report on Technology, Regulation, and Innovation
Italy’s real estate and infrastructure represent a true national wealth—a wealth that has frequently revealed its fragility in the face of seismic events. Numerous professionals, including scientists, researchers, engineers, and technicians, are dedicated to safeguarding and improving structures to mitigate seismic risk.
From September 11th to 15th in Turin, ANIDIS (the Italian National Association of Earthquake Engineering) and ASSISi (the Anti-Seismic Systems International Society) will hold their respective conferences concurrently for the first time (XIX ANIDIS Conference and XVII ASSISi Conference). The goal is to foster dialogue among researchers, technicians, and construction industry operators.
This unique event, enriched by seminars, workshops, and high-level updates, creates vital synergies between the academic and professional worlds.
Progetto Sisma will participate in these study days with great interest, contributing its own expertise—specifically through the Resisto 5.9K System. This innovative technological solution enables combined seismic safety and energy efficiency improvements for existing buildings. The intervention is performed externally, ensuring full compliance with current regulations while minimizing disruption.
